<p>Fist of the Tyrant:</p><p>aITEM -456268462 -375667358:Fist of the Tyrant/a</p><p>Seems to not have the same Damage Rating as other weapons the same level.</p><p><img src="http://www.maineweb.net/alain/brokenweapon.jpg" width="652" height="532" /></p><p>I was hoping this would be looked at so i can finally sell the darn thing.  I can't even give it away the way it is cause master crafted is so much better in comparison, well anything else that level is better rating than it.</p><p>And while you're at it... give it a little extra "kick", it has no hitpoints... and since its a raid drop beef it up a bit in the damage proc department.</p><p>Thanks!</p>

I don't understand why the age of content really matters. The damage rating takes into consideration delay and damage range, so the rating should still be the same reguardless. It matters to me cause I'd like to sell it... and no one will buy it cause its damage rating is that of a tier below. It's a fistwrap and those are hard to come by in a fabled version. It's from a raiding instance, and is totally subpar for the amount of effort it takes to get. Hrm. Old content or not, doesn't mean it can't be retouched. It can't take that long to fix it? If it does, then somethings wrong with the system!

<p>It's all in the proc.  If you take the 9% (3 second normalized) chance to do up to 375 damage you get an additional 11.25 DPS (more if you have any proc change modifying class in group) - you add 11.25 to 32.8, and it's a 44.05 rating, just above the rating of the other weapon that has 41.7 rating and a stun proc. If you look at it as if he had so many "points" to spend on an item in creating it then you can start to see how it makes sense the way the two items came out. </p><p>One does more dmg from a proc, doesn't stun, and when adding the proc and the damage of the weapon you get a higher damage rating.  The other does more damage in the hits itself, can stun, but overall does less damage according to the raw numbers.  Yes, yes, there's all kinds of variables, as with any item (what if he has X buff, or Y buff), but at its base, no other spell effects buffing one item or the other you see how the two items had the same "points" spent on creating them.</p>

<p>There are plenty of other items I can list who have the same proc where the damage rating fo the weapon is uniform accross the board.  This one is the only one that has lower damage ratings than any other fabled items.</p><p>This isn't a matter of points... the effect on a weapon doesn't have anything to do with the damage rating of a weapon. Damage rating for fabled level 43 is the same on any fabled weapon except for this one... which is where it's broken.</p><p>If I have to, i'll post more pictures.  Give me a day or so.</p>

<p>Heres another screenshot comparing similar items.  You tell me which one is the odd one out of the whole bunch.  Are you telling me that +2 more crushing makes up for the loss of 10+dps?</p><p><img src="http://www.maineweb.net/alain/NotRight2.jpg" width="1227" height="518" /></p><p>Don't forget... it's from an epic x 4 zone.  The other two along side of it are from the same zone.  They are however, not broken like the Fist of the Tyrant are.</p>
