Just wondering, we are having a bit of trouble with a couple mobs on epic weapon quests. Seems we get real close, then somebody gets wacked. Is is possible to raid group these mobs? Couple wizards in the dps group would do it with ease. Or does this screw up the drop? Have not tried it yet, but want to this week.

The guy (forget the name) with the 2 adds is just getting us.

The twins in Chelsith?

Raid Group as in 24 people? No

I think your refering to the twins in Chelsith. The female is a mage and stuns people in the group, the male is a melee type. To do it you need a mezzer to well mez the mage, then you have to burn the brother down and after that switch to the mage.

I would get rid of the wizards in your group and go: guard, sk, assasin, dirge/trouby, illy/coercer, and healer. But really you need mezzer and high dps to get through the mob.

You dont NEED a mezzer, but it certainly makes the fight easier and faster.

"Guy with two adds" sounds possibly like Dorvias in the Spires of Innorruuk in Neriak. That's the step I am on, so I'm not sure exactly how tough it is going to be.

The kills in TG, Chel and KC were cake, mostly. We did have a mezzer for the mage twin; after burning the brother, I made a mistake and broke the mez before running up to her. This allowed her to get off a group arcane that almost got us. Were I doing it again, I would be sure to get close enough to give her a nice kick in the teeth to break the mez, instead of a ranged spell.

But to add an answer to the original question.. (almost?) any heroic mob can be multiple-grouped, as long as it is not in an instance with a limitation on the number of people in the zone, the groups are not in raid formation, the group needing credit starts the fight and gains ownership with damage, and at least one member of the group needing credit survives the fight. Wouldn't work in Chelsith, would work in TG, KC, CoM, TW or Neriak, depending on the mob you were after.

I haven't needed that tactic so far, but again I still need Dorvias and the Umbral Destroyer, so I don't know if either of them will give us problems. As a group, we are not raid-geared or anything, just average gear.
