Monk or Bruiser T-8 PVP

<p> I currently have a 55 bruiser on Nagafen which I plan to take to cap. I almost exclusively solo!</p><p>Could someone who has PVP experience in T-8 with a Monk tell me if I would be better off in solo pvp as a Monk or just stick with a bruiser.</p><p>SK's give me the most trouble now and I cant seem to beat one anywhere close to my level. I have all adept III's and mastercrafted.</p><p>Right now I am specced STA and INT in brawler tree!</p><p>I am thinking of betraying to a MONK!</p><p>Any advice would be greatly appreciated!</p><p>Thanks!</p>

<p>Definetely betray to monk.  Since you're soloing and won't have access to the bruiser mythical, Tsunami is going to be the best PvP tool you'll ever get, and outward calm (wards you against non-physical damage) is owneage against casters, and straight up useful against everyone else.  It'll also be enough to help you out against SKs, since outward calm can absorb a death-touch.  You might also want to look towards getting to superior riposte in the monk line, since that can actually riposte a harm-touch or any other class attack for that matter.  </p><p>Go for monk, head down the str and int lines in the brawler line to get chi and the 100% critical hit below 30% hp, and you're golden.  Check out any of the threads on soloing names, pvping, etc. on this forum and you'll have all the advice you need to </p>
