raid question

<p>You zerker boys ...... when raiding our zerk MT seems to get 1 hitted on the pull quite alot , is he not doing something correctly ? should he be pulling the mob in defensive stance ..... (which he hates) , with every defensive CA running .... including adrenaline or is this a healing issue ? He currently runs with around 16500 health on raids (i think ) , its just in my previous guild we had a guardian that wasnt 1 hitted nearly as much.</p><p>just an honest question, thanks for your time in advance.</p>

<p>I usually start in on the pull pre-casting Turmoil, Hold Rage and my group Mit buff (the other one snares you).  Depending on what I'm pulling I may or may not be in defensive.  Be ready to hit Adrenaline if you get a spike and MAKE SURE YOUR HEALERS ARE PRE-WARDING/HEALING.  That is the most critical part, so yes, it's probably a healing thing.  </p><p>Some healers won't pre-heal because they're afraid of getting aggro on the pull, but they need to get over it.  It's most especially important for your MT Shaman to pre-ward with both group and single target wards and your MT Cleric pre-casts group and single target reactives.  If he's constantly getting smacked down on the pull that's probably why.  </p><p>16.5k for full raid buffs seems a little low too.  You might want to make sure he has all the health/sta adorns he can and has all his character advancement options put into increased health and stamina.  Low health is one of our biggest weaknesses compared to the other tanks so you need to make up for it in any way you can.  The more health you have the less chance of getting one-shot or having a massive health spike.</p>

<p>Its probably a lack of pre-healz, but you could have your OT throw up interecepts on pull to help reduce the damage the MT takes off the bat. Depending on what mobs it is they could be HTing too... :-/</p>

<p>What zones? Nothing pre-TSO should be one shotting your tank on the pull unless it's a boss mob, or it has a harmtouch. That is unless your MT is poorly geared.</p>
