<p>For regular 78-80 targets:</p><p>I dont really have an order, tho certain sections seem to go the same way.</p><p>Root, Bolt of Ice, Solar Flare (intermixed throughout), Ball of Magma, Flame Chamber, Flames of Vellious, Flare and Ball are usually about ready again.. target dead.</p><p>For protracted fights, ^^s and ^^^s, drop Tempest early on, and time stun spells to go in between the ticks.  With an upgraded Fission you can hit the target from outside of melee range, so use that if its up, as well as Disintegrate. </p>

<p>I am lvl 55 now and I am sure things will change when I get to later levels, but for now I don't bother with root unless the target is heroic ^^ and up ... Ice Shield, Stun (Paralyze), Slow, Nuke (Ice Bolt), Nuke (Ball of Fire?), Nuke (Plasma Strike) and it is dead.</p>

<p>Bolt of Ice - Magma Chamber - Ice root(forgot the name) - ball of magma - lightning -velium ...?(other Ice nuke)- chain root.</p><p>Occassionally ill throw Surging Tempest in as well for another stun. I start off with the Ice root so incase the the damage from the other nukes breaks or the chain gets resisted, there is a slow effect which buys time to  cast again.</p><p>As an 80 Wizzy, most regular mobs are dead or close to, and the end of that order. Also if you have Velium gift-macro that into bolt of ice for extra damage.</p>

<p>You can just target a solo mob and click random wizard spells, it'll die.</p>

<p>Root, Protoflame, Ball of Fire, Ice Comet. If it is still there after that I go with random what ever that will do some major damage Sun Strike or something like that</p>

<p>let's say it all depends on <strong>what </strong>mob you are fighting.</p><p>standard mobs die fast. Then get some stuff for solo, like those with DISPERSION effect. I also use that kind of stuff with PU groups <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p>They'll help you tank, and you don't even need root.Some spells are good also for that kind of effect : <strong>Numbling cold</strong> (level 52, no upgrade) if you are in trouble and need to root or flie, <strong>Magma chamber</strong> because stun, <strong>bolt of ice</strong> dito.</p><p>Problem starts with named... I changed my AAs for that, as some people explained in another post. <strong>manashield</strong> is your friend. Root mandatory, AND you should unequip gear with too much proc, as it is not worth breaking root for 300 damages.</p>

<p>Ice Root, Chain Root.    Rending Icicles(debuff), Freehand sorcery+Bolt of Ice, Ball of Fire, Flame Chamber, Chain Root, Flames of Velious, Ball of Fire, Plasma bolt, Ice Root, Rending Icicles.....rinse repeat.  works for all mobs from solo non-hero's to DOOM named lvl 78^^^ heroic.</p>
