Im a solo PvPer with points in Int for mag crit and some in reav line and was wondering if anyone knows if the healing crit upgrades in int line compliment the reaving line and are worth getting.

I'm pretty sure that all of the shadowknight heals actually use spell damage to determine the crit rate because they are primary damage, and secondarily h eals. Also, the reaver ability itself is a percentage to health heal and I'm pretty sure it cannot crit.

Hmm. so if thats the case what purpose does that ability serve for a shadowknight? Why would they implement an ability that has no effect?

and this has been answered a trillion times before on this Forum. all you "new SKs" out there should really start using the search function, every question is covered in here.

I find it amusing how often I see ppl post replies complaining about questions that may have been previously asked. You really have nothing better to do? Does this really bother you that much that you take time out of your life to post a useless complaint?

Im sorry I took two seconds to ask a question instead of wasting more time searching through the forum base. I didnt know this class forum was so busy it couldnt handle answering my question which may have been previously asked.

would you yourself like to answer the same question over and over and over? yep it is annoying, and no, it was not useless doing it (and I have plenty of time left of my day to do other very interesting things).

but hey, it probably is just a sign of the times when everyone thinks Shadowknight is the new FOTM, creates a new SK toon because they think now its the best class ever, however totally refuse to take some time to read through all the great info that is available in this forum!!

I might have mistaken this forum with the one over at eq2flames, so I might have sounded a little rude. but cmon guys, use your brains and start reading, every info you need is here and even more.

But it also doesnt really hurt anyone, but more to the point EQII changes all the time, some info on here is outdated and has been changed over time. With the latest expansion a few things changed for us, so its not to weird to check if some old info is still valid.

I agree that the search feature can sometimes be remarkably irritating. In this case, I thought I'd note that entering "heal crit" in the basic search bar of this sk forum yields plenty of immediate results. To some extent, we can blame ourselves since none of us has put together a FAQs thread that might address some of those most commonly repeated questions. (Heal crits, AAs, Death march aggro, M2s, best duo with SK, deity choice, goading gesture, etc.)

Nobody is calling you dude. You don't have to anyswer any questions, especially ones you think have been asked before. It never ceases to amaze me how people waste their time complaining about someone "wasting their time." If these were your forums (and they aren't), and you were somehow required to answer every question asked (and you aren't), then I can see a complaint. He's not spamming the same message over and over. Just change the channel. Do you complain every time a TV show is rebroadcast? It's not the end of the world.

It was at the top of the second page though. I see a lot of people putting 8 points in that AA, I guess it's a waste for a SK to do that.

heal crits only help you if you have heal proc gear on such as the fighter gear that has the heal procs. T3 gear that has the group heal does a lot more with the heal crits.

Now this is situational.. not ideal if you are tanking, but if you are dps'ing and in the mage group those heals will help your group out..

I can tell you that I chose the reaving line and I am very very pleased with it, I havent tampered too much with the int line leading upto it though...Reaving is totally worth it though.
