I have been searching the boards for this and have not seen it yet possable I missed it but here goes.

The AA ability in the Pally tree Smite Evil is a pretty cool attack how ever it says it will only hit those of evil alignement or undead. Well ummm this could be a problem since I am FP based. Can anyone tell me if it works just fine for evil chars Smite'n Good Chars as it were and its just an over site on the description?

He probably plays on a PvP server where it IS possible to betray and keep your class (Freeportian Paladin / Qeynosian ShadowKnight FTW!). On that note: if you are a betrayed Paladin then I beleive Smite Evil is pure PvE for you (since it cannot damage any citizen of Qeynos or Kelethin)

I am on a PvP Server I play on Naggy. If that line does me no good I guess I will have to go down a diff one as PvP builds are a lil more import on a PvP server. Unless the Dev fix it ...............................hint hint

Hint Hint: Citizens of Freeport are Evil by default and Citizens of Qeynos are Good. Since Smite Evil is just that (Smite EVIL) you should be lucky it doesn't smite yourself instead.

So basicly ya'll are telling me to deal with it because.....

1) I am from FP

2) I am on a PvP server

Am I getting this right?

If this is the case then get of your high horse tbh. No other class has allignment based attacks. Why should this one? I dont care about the RP aspect although if you want to argue that point, here it is. As a FP based char I find all other factions against my beliefs and are there for evil and I wish to smite them.

You could risk 10g and test this to see if its working. Just /duel a friend and use smite evil. If it hits them, then it works on your faction. It would be safe to assume it won't work on "good" faction people. If it fails to work on your friend, you'll need to test it in actual PvP combat.

Again, its a risk of 10g and at least 1 PvP death. All in all, doesn't seem too expensive from my point of view.
