I took a few months off, now back playing guardian. I don't tank raids at all, mainly instance groups with guild.

I read the Warrior AA paths thread (not entirely, but the last pages) in order to understand the new changes a bit.

A couple of people suggested paths ( STR:448, AGI:4486 or AGI:41, STA:4488, INT:446 )

Question 1: The above suggested path is mainly for raid tanking correct? Reason I ask is, if you have a mezzer in group the added AoE from AGI ability will 'awake' all those mezzed mobs.

Question 2: Will path suggested in Question 1, with slight modification, will also work for instance groups in ToS?

As for the guardian tree, I noticed that the double attack and cripple ability lines were not used. I image this is because the other abilites provide more defense? I always thought that hitting harder would allow me to get the attention of the mobs, that's why I had picked those lines before.

Thanks guys, I've tried to catch up with changes in new expansion, but it's a bit reading and still having hard time understanding some of the stuff.

AoE autoattack won't break mez. I like to go full int line. The double attack in guardian tree and crippling line is also nice IMO. What else would you get? Got your back? lol =P

I took Block, Double Attack, and crippling, then put 3 in rescue and 4 in reinforcement... works for me...

Right now I'm doing str: 4,4,8,5 sta: 4,4,8,8 int: 4,7,4,7,1 I'm missing the 4,1 in agi though for the extra aoe but oh well. I don't have TSO but when/if I do get it, I'll probably play around with the agi line again I suppose. Then again, maybe not =P

Thanks guys. I kept that AA setup, and tanking in defensive stance is awesome. My healer(s) are loving the new setup; however, I'm having such a hard time trying to keep agro on me. I usually group with zerker and a brigand, and I just can't keep up with their dps, and I endup losing it to either one of them.

I'm working on my epic weapon; I should be have it done by next week, but I doubt that will provide the dps I need to hold agro. All my spells are adept3 and have couple of masters (taunts mainly). Can you guys give me some pointers as to how go about this?

Agro mangemnet is a group job and not just a tank job. But considering they doing okay, you may want to put your buff that sucks agro from them instead of the healer.
