Okay, so thats actually a lie, I played one four years ago but I can't remember it.

So basically, I've just made a necromancer and I have my little bat pet, Barnaby. The problem is, I don't see his pet options. Now I have done /petoptions (hence the reason his name is Barnaby), but I can't seem to pull his "actions" off that screen. Is there a way to get the pet options onto my hotbars at all?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Well the main "pet window" is different than the "pet options" one IIRC. The main one is defaulted to Ctrl-P (I think) and contains things like attack, backing off, and whether it responds to itself or you getting hit. Those options CAN be dragged to your hotbars.

The "pet options" window on the other hand is accessed by right-clicking on your pet and choosing "Pet Options." There might be a slash command for it, but I really don't know. That window is where you set the melee/ranged status of your pet (I think), as well as permanently hiding any "god pets" you get (at lowbie level you obviously don't have this, but later you will). I don't know about ALL the options, but melee/ranged can be set by typing "/pet melee" or "/pet ranged". You can always set those to a macro if you have need of switching it. And btw, your mage pet (you get that at 20, I think) starts out by default at /pet ranged, while your scout and tank (you get your tank first, scout is in the 30s.. i think) both start out in /pet melee.

I hope that answered most of your questions.
