Has anyone else noticed an absurdly significant rise in how easy root breaks now in TSO? I know our roots suck anyway, with 15% chance to break on damage, but recently it seems every nuke I do breaks it. Feels more like 75% chance to break than 15%.

Anyone else having problems with this? Am I just being really unluck with the 15% die rolls? Or am I just imagining it all after eating to many swamp mushrooms?

Haven't visited any TSO zones as yet, but yes I have noticed my luck has recently changed on my Warlock as well. I smell a nerf perhaps.

My roots aren't as strong as Rev's, but I haven't noticed any real difference in holding mobs. I've been in both RoK & TSO sense it came out, at 72-74 lvl.

Solo'ing, I can't quite hang in TSO, my roots break to easy on the yellows (even though I recast each root as soon as it refreshes), but Duo'ing w/ my hubby's guard, I can usually manage to grasp, bind, bind, bind on 80% of the mobs, before he has to call their mamas' very bad names to pull them off of me. In between binds, I am debuffing, & hitting DoTs, hubby cast 'throw pointy stick,' so they are taking damage & could break the roots.

In RoK, I am having no problems solo'ing the blue/greens. I think I only have to run screaming in abject terror only every 30-40 mobs (ie when they break the grasp/bind combo right away).

I just finished soloing four zones full of white to yellow con ^^ to ^^^ heroic mobs. All TSO content. That being said, my Adept 3 roots did the job perfectly fine.

It's quite simple, if one breaks? Stand there and do nothing until you can re-apply it. If both break? Null Carress, and by the time the slow wears off you're red-backed root will have recharged and you'll get another shot.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with our roots.

Hmmm. There is a significant change that has occured. Our roots are not holding like they used to. I even have a Subjugation in the 450's and still noticed roots hold less and less than they did before. I'm atempting to raise my Subj skill even more to see if that rememdies it, but it's pretty clear roots are not holding as they once did.

Hey Hey

Well i just solo the last part of the Shiny Metalic Robe , well tbh 3rd and last time threw the Clockwork town i just zerged it. But i did it all, you just have to use the roots every time they come up, try not to use dots, some times i would use Armagedon, but only when both of my roots are up. The highst lvl is, 82 so yellow not orange. All in all like i stated before it all seems fine. BtW my subj is at around 447, and i may have used an item or two to get it to 455. Just take your time and do not spam spells.

Rev

Roots are definitely weird! I don't mean they're necessarily broken in any way or stuff but a few examples, I'll write. Sometimes the single root sticks till it runs out and I mean after launching the whole array of dots on it. And then it breaks more than often after the first nuke. Which of course is not much of a problem since it fears the mob and you can root it again quickly. Just goes to show that the RNG is sucky
