The topic is Curseweaving under the Defiler tab in the AA chart.

It reads:

Hastens the duration, casting, recovery, and reuse speed of all Cursing abilities.

Effects:

Increases duration by 5%

Improves casting, recover, and reuse speed by 50%.

There are several Curse spells, so I'll use Abomination as the example, but all behave the same way.

Before taking the Curseweaving AA, the cast time is 2 seconds, recast is 18.5 secs, and the recovery isn't listed on the spell (one of many such bugs in the game) but I assume it is the standard 0.5 secs.

After taking the Curseweaving AA point, the cast time becomes 1.33 seconds, recast 12.7 secs, and the recovery suddenly becomes listed, and is 0.33 seconds.

At first blush, that appears to be only a 33% reduction of cast, recast, and recovery times, not the 50% as specified on the AA.

What am I missing?

I found this issue about 6 months ago as I raised my defiler, and rediscovered it again when respec'ing AA's today to put some into the Shadow line before earning enough new ones to reach where I wanted to go. I was careful to record the before and after spell metrics this time, and had no other variables going on that might have tainted the experiment.
