No, not an entry about smut and vulgarity....

We have a scout AA that boosts our "offensive stances and songs", and I'm wondering, what exact song or songs does this AA actually affect for troubadors? In short, I don't know what ours is.

Thanks!

ugh. that thing? ewww. lol

thanks.

As far as the scout shadow tree goes, I ended up putting 5 points into the cheap-shot shortener, and 5 into the defensive song one, which adds physical mitigation (and a healthy amount, I might add) to our +def song.

onward and upward,

Evander Everlasting, 66 Troubador of Kithicor

IMO we got [Removed for Content] on most of the new tree... the useful items to put points into are the melee and CA items (read: areas dirge's already beat us in before)

The toub line has some good items like the JC enchancement and of course the end-line abilities... but the scout/bard lines... we got screwed IMO, because no other bards are nearly as spell-centric as troubs.

So what if troubs are spell centric. I'm liking that. I don't consider dirge to be a bard anyway. Take swashbuckler, remove dps and replace with buffs = dirge. Troubador is the bard in this game.

well, I'm only level 68, so I don't know my rear from my elbow, but....

That cheap shot scout ability (quickening its recast) when paired up with the troubador KoS cheap shot skill (increasing its duration) is QUITE nice. Add to that a shield bash from the stamina line, and I can take a large chunk out of anything before it even gets around to hitting me once.

As you said, we rock the spell damage, so why bother enhancing it? That's putting all of your eggs in one basket my friend. By enhancing our melee abilities, and our defensive abilities, we fill out our arsenal nicely.

Dirge Schmirge. Bah.

We're Maestros for a reason. =)

Yep to answer the question for myself I put one AA into Offensive Stance TSO AA line. The only spell I seen changed was Song of Magic, add another to the "why would I select this" AA options.

Have fun,
