Bolt of Power ?

<p>I read somewhere the bolt of power proc from about every kind of attack. So, my question is : did bolt of power proc from dmg shield adornment (shoulder, shield) and dmg shield potion ?</p><p>Thanks.</p><p>Arandir, Befallen server</p>

<p>Procs do not proc other procs.    the shield adorn for example is a damage shield "proc" and although it does damage it will not proc any of your gear procs or spell buff procs (cob for example).  So no... those adorns will not proc bolt of power.</p><p>iirc the description of bolt of power reads "on a successful attack" will do such and such.   When that phrase is listed with a proc, that proc will only have a chance to trigger on melee attacks.   If the description had read "on any successful attack" then it would work on either autoattack damage or spell damage.  </p><p>STR is not a line i run with often but that's how it works if i remember correctly.</p>

<p>At the risk of necroposting: I did look through my parses to confirm what I thought I had seen while soloing (only place I have BoP is in my solo/DPS spec), and Bolt does proc on nukes.</p><p>I have a guess on why Steadfast seems a lot less useful in TSO than previously also - the mobs are doing a whole lot more knockbacks than plain interrupts, and getting kicked around breaks Steadfast.</p>
