I'm looking for suggestions as to the best weapon set for a lvl 35 bruiser, maxed str aa line, -what mastercrafted weapons or weapon should i be using? I'm looking for a setup that hits fast and hard, i have been fighting barefisted, but with the change in the str line, ive been told thats not efficient anymore. Any suggestions are appreciated.

At lvl 35, the weapons you use wont matter much in the dps department apart from trying to get two with the same delays.

The big issue you have to remember is keeping all your abilities maxed. So make sure you have 1 weapon of every type on you. E.g. Slashing piercing and crushing. Would suck big time if you got to lvl 80, had a sweet piercing weapon drop and it took you 3 weeks to get the skill for it maxed. So switch between them regularly.

And yes if dps is your goal, barefisted is no longer the option now the str line has been changed. I have an alt Bruiser that I still run barefisted with but that’s because of look only and not for efficient damage.

I wish I could have read this info two years ago cause he is absolutely correct. I think it took me four days if not more of constant fighting (missing, missing, missing,...blah) just to get my piercing skill maxxed. Do it now while skills are not so many points to max.
