We went there with solid grp killed 2 nameds w/o major problems and then we had to kill sisters (dont remember names).

1st we just survived aoe and try to kill them but they never died always got back to 100%hp.

Then we tried to follow script with books and delaying aoe. Again sisters never died. After few 30m-1h pulls we gave up.

Whats the story with this encounter?

Story is... your DPS is not good enough, this is an awesome encounter and seperates the weak from the strong. Don't change anything please.

Im not asking for changes i just want to know what i need there to kill.

I went there with survivalibity grp not dps one. It was our 1st time ever in instance and we had to learn all by ourself. Just we didnt find anythig in the instance which would tell us how to kill sisters. Follow books scenario... ok we did. Get them down ... ok we did all were 0% and .... after 15 sec or so got to 100%.

so just plz say what to do there and we will do it. Just for now we have no clue.

Think of it as tug of war. There is a ball of light in the middle. If the ball reaches the top you all die, if it reaches the bottom then you can kill each of them dead. At any point in the fight all 3 are standing, the ball goes up. If one is down the ball stays still. If 2 are down the ball moves VERY slowly down. If 3 are down it moves down quickly. If you dont have the DPS to keep 2-3 down at all times its going to be a seriously long fight. I did this in about 8 mins, Ive seen another group do it and it took 90 mins. Even if your dps sucks, you can still kill it. You are just going to be there for awhile.

edit: btw dont change this encounter.

Don't even bother with this encounter unless at least 4-5 people can pull about 7k dps each. You'll need a very good group for it, both in skill and class combinations. You'll need an awesome solo healer too, because if you run with 2 healers you probably won't have enough DPS.

agressiv

This is an incredibly challengeing encounter, but DPS isnt the key. It's helpful to have a very strong solo class and some mana regen to keep the healers goin and that's about it. Last time I killed it we had Pally, Inq, Fury, Asn, Troub, Illy and once we figured out the script, it died pretty easilly.

We fought this 10 times today and try as I might I could never see any thing in the middle. Some thing - ball? Pillar? what? - that rises and falls depending on how you do with books and with keeping librarians dead? But I never did see a ball or anything regardless of graphics settings. Also the animations were screwed up where I would see one 'die' then apparently get back up even though I don't see any attacks coming from it - or all three would look 'dead' but one of them was still attacking. Their health indicators didn't help either with some suddenly showing full health long before their 'revive' message or before they started attacking again.

Very frustrating to not be able to see the 'progress indicator' and to have the graphics/animations contradicting the actual status of the mobs. Also the red and blue onscreen messages - which flash by so quick you can't read them - don't show up in the log so whatever hints they held .... are lost - if they actually were meaningful. In a few cases I saw red messages about one of the librarians reviving just seconds after we had put it down ... and no swings coming from it - as though the message was coming way before the revival or another librarian was reviving and the message was naming the wrong one?

The item stops the orb for an amount of time. While I've never done this with a PuG or anything, I've done it with several different group setups, and we usually don't have much trouble.

The way people are talking about this encounter reminds me of how I used to think of the "Lunchmeat" encounter in Outer Stronghold. The first time we killed it we didn't know about the forge item that allows one person to attack the froglok even when they don't have the debuff, so aggro was all over the place and the fight was very intense (from a healer's perspective, at least). Once we realized we could use the forge item, the fight wasn't even a challenge.

I (the tank) was the only DPs on the 3 nameds. Others where killing books, because they had some problems at it (dont know why really).

I had like 7-8k dps in all def on those, killed them at the same time, they got back to 70%, then our dps stoped killing books and we killed the 3 of them.
