Now the rescue has a 5 min timer.

There is 2 AA options where you can lower the recast time.

On guardian tree 30 sec every AA point spent

On shadow tree 10% every AA point spent.

So you can choose one of them to get 2min 30sec recast of the Rescue

BUT IF YOU SPEND MORE POINS (to the another AA) NO MORE CHANGE, RESCUE MIN TIMER IS 2mins 30 sec

You can easily waste 5 AA points.

Is it a bug or did I miss something? of is it a feature?

It's fairly poorly thought out aa trees at this point.

It is a game mechanic that you can not lower the recast time of a spell less than 50% of what it's base recast is.

That is all fine and good, however because of how the AA are ordered in the 'Guardian' Tree you have to put points in rescue there to get to the reinforcement aa reduction. So, we're all stuck using the points there instead of in the TSO fighter tree.

The best solution for this would be to swap the order of rescue / reinforcement in the Guardian AA tree so that we could choose to pick up rescue from either tree and still be able to get intimidation. OR replace the rescue timer reduction in guardian tree to something more class specific now that ALL fighters get the rescue reduction option.

Yea, it's dumb to have 2 AAs that do the same thing. The things the eq2 dev (devs?) come up with blow my mind some times.

warrior aa tree was in place b4 tso, no other fighters could reduce rescue, when tso was being launch, they wanted aa's that "shared" from their respective classes, and all fighters share rescue. It's not dumb design, just doesn't scale properly.

So spend points on something else besides the Rescue reduction?

as someone else has said, choose other aa's your gonna go down that line anyway for the guardian tree.
