Venekor had a blast at the party. Lots of free stuff given out. Was a little scary seeing the freeps formed up in a X3 (i have no idea why there was maybe a full group of VA in there) No pvp till the end when someone decided to drown themselve then ate a fission.... /grin. Thanks for the party Devs it was fun.

I sent a broadcast on nagafen about 8:30 or so when Grimwell let me know that I could. Nifty toy, that.Shortly after that is when things went south and people started drowning themselves and griefing others.

That's weird because "Grimwell" on Venekor told us to drown ourselves for PvP if we wanted it. It was being encouraged. This being on Venekor. Of course no Qeynos would do it when they were outnumbered 10 to 1.I wouldn't mind seeing faction only parties so I don't have to stare at freeps or exiles all night and not be able to talk with them.

It may be a stupid question considering I did not attend the event and maybe the answer is obvious... But why did they organise the event in a pvp enabled area if they don't want players to kill each other ?

Faction based would have made more sense!I have been having a memory problem with my system, and there were sooo many people, lag killed me the whole time I was there... I know that's not SOE's fault but it was annoying. Then throw in the particles of PvP during the whole time, Ack!More thought needs to be given to PvP when holding these events. Please guys!Also, deveolping a queue system, or better yet, a zone portal, so someone doesn't have to personally send someone to the party would be nice.Personally, I think it could have been done like the Brew Day event. Update in the morning as usual, when we log in there's a portal to the party room in the cities, next day turn it off. Simple. That way everyone has a chance to do the event that day and there is no mad rush to go in.Solved. <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/e8a506dc4ad763aca51bec4ca7dc8560.gif" border="0" />

The Community Team decides who gets the privilege of using outside avatars.Sucking up does NOT aid in this.I'm running a tad late for the party (it's 5:03!!) I'm finishing up something and will be in within the next 10 minutes!** adjusted because of mean software that is not EQII related!** whilst I'm patching... if anyone is here and sees this... Make sure you have empty space in your bags so that I can hand out presents!
