last night we ran the 3rd wing of vp and everyone ones heals were way down.

personally speaking it did seem that cast times were taking longer and they didnt seem to be healing as much.

I had almost 4 times the number of heal crits of any other healer but ended up with the 2nd lowest total heal amount so something does seem to be out

Interesting, we did Trak and the heal numbers were up and usually clerics dominate the parse but shamans were way up.

Grouping and other raid content healing numbers were generally up.

OH and EH procs are way down, to the point I will replace them when I get good gear for the spots. Not useless but definatly not much value.

I expected Holy Water Sprinkler to be in the same situation but it accounted for 18% of my heals on Trak, down from the 20-25% previously but they still rock.

I have had to adjust from spamming group heals while watching TV to actually healing intellegently for a change. I feel much more engaged and healing is fun again.

I have to say the sky is still in its place and SOE did a great job with the recent heal changes. A huge nerf but healing was reduced to how much can I get my equipment to proc. Power was no issue so you got cast and recast times down and just cast group heals over and over. When you cast a group heal to heal the mage for 10% health because it is easier than changing targets, you know things are out of hand.

Been hearing reactives don't proc heal procs because they don't count as a heal, they count as a benificial spell.

I find this hard to belive as I cast the group reactive a lot more now and the group heal much less and I am still getting good proc rates except for OH and EH.

Even with all the parsing this is hard to really test and see. Anybody have any luck?

Also I think this would be easier for a dev to test, unless it is some sort of gear interaction that is causing it. Just knowing that reactive can proc stuff would help dispel rumours and would help narrow the testing needed.

Well geared templar or healer will not see the nerf of EH, OH and manawell but the rest will surely notice. I dont have crap items myself but i notice i have to cast heal much often, the worst is casting of group reactive, in new zones i cast is and tank is going down too quickly. With OH, he was healed instantly after group rective landed, now hes not and too often hes dead. You bacisly make me cast group react only when repent is up or before fight. I call it a big nerf to myhealing abilities.

It can be overcome, still possible to heal all the same stuff, just a lot more work.

I've noticed the difference in healing and also, though not quite as bad, in power management (due to pond wash nerfage). There's a big difference in raid healing and also in healing instance groups where it's a bit more challenging keeping the choker wearers alive.
