My wife's PC needs to be rebooted when she plays EQ2 if its been in sleep mode.

When we reboot, EQ2 does a full scan everytime it starts, even if nothing is changed.

I would like to know how to bypass the scan - can anyone help?

Thank you!

I think that the only way to start the game is through the launcher. Can you turn off the sleep mode? or set it so that it takes longer to get into sleep mode?

Yes, you can, but there's a catch...

If you are sure you are up to date with all patches, you can launch the file everquest2.exe from X:Program FilesSonyEverquest2 (where X is your install drive) to directly launch the game, you will be prompted to login in once the game starts up, however swapping characters after you have logged in does not work and you will be forced to shut down and start the game back up.

Every time I try to swap using either /camp name or the menu option to camp to character select I get prompted to login again and the login always fails...
