Reactions?

So far, aggro's been pretty good for me. Granted I have Mythical and some decent gear all around, but even with the loss in double-attack I'm not really noticing all that much difference.

No problems here, tanked some of the wing 2 in VP last night, only on couple of pulls when some people were bit too much trigger happy or i got stunned. Also new heroic instances were cake.

I'm a newly 80 Zerker with some instance gear, and my Fabled Epic.

I ran VoES last night (don't have TSO yet, so no new AA's). So I threw on a Tower Shield and gave it a shot.

Deffinitely lower DPS (close to 20% lower - my Slashing DPS was less than 50% of my overall DPS for the first time ever)

Also seemed to loose agro a bit more often. Off stance whole time as per usual.

Doing a Seb run tonight as well, which will be a better test for a non-raiding Zerker.

I'm loving it. I haven't had any issues at all thus far. My DPS didn't suffer as much as I thought it would and I have no problem at all with aggro. I've tanked about three or four group instances so far, and Tomb of the Mad Crusader up to the Naga with no trouble whatsoever. I'm really loving the new snap aggro tools too for if I die or like when I got the curse and had to go kill adds on the Naga and the OT had to take over. Just pop rescue or the new fighter single target positional hate attack (Sneering Assault or something?) and I had the mob back most of the time and if one of them misses or gets resisted I still have two more plus Insolence to get me back up the hate list. Then there's the fact that between the changes to our avoidance temp buff, the Stamina line and the fact I'm wearing a tower shield now, my avoidance is much higher. I can get my shield block up to around 26% right now and I have the AA that makes our defensive taunt proc do an extra taunt when you block so I imagine that helps alot too.

All in all the Berserker changes get the thumbs up from this guy. Oh, and then there's this little gem I got yesterday off the final mob in Nu'roga:

My zerker is also pretty new to 80 and has not maxxed out the old AA (140) yet. I have pieces from CoA and a couple other legendary bits, roll with a nuke happy Coercer, Defiler, SK, Fury & my hydra Dirge (without Hate trf) I previously hardly had to use taunts, my dps was enough, but I now find myself bashing these at every opportunity. So I guess this is working as attended! The SK in particular, who is fairly new to EQ2 is often pulling agro from me - now that may be her inexperience and gettin used to some new or reworked spells/abilities. Also the Coercer can rip at will it seems! I am a little harder to heal aswell, as never really came across a decent tower shield yet, so the Fury can't just dps. So for me, it has made things harder in that group. In pick ups, where I had to use taunts all the time beforehand, I am quite apprehensive..

You can respec some of your points out of KoS/EoF into shadows. I'm reluctant to myself since some of the EoF abilities suddenly became useful to me.

I dropped all my AAs in the EoF tree except clicky Berserk, then specced as far as I could in TSO tree. Then added some more to the EoF tree until I could add more to the TSO tree etc. etc. It gave me enough to get the Fighter and Warrior trees with enough points for the two single target snap aggro abilities (Sneering Assault and the Warrior one). It'll be a while til I can put points in the Zerker tree though I'm at 145 right now.

147 points here, but i can't decide should i put points in EoF tree or Shadows tree. Currently i have UW enhancement, Gut Roar and clicky berserk, but i'd like to spend some in other tree aswell. I think i'll be dropping Gut Roar for more points in new tree.

Wow, tried Befallen: Cavern of the Afflicted, and a Zerker can really shine. I'm a Heroic instance Zerker, but was easily holding agro over the Raid Assn, Raid Dirge, and Swashy in my group. Out-DPSing them too. Yes the agro transfer helped some, but something feels right having 16 mobs beat on you at once.
