I think we're all familiar with the term "vendor-trash". This may not be a large source of revenue on "Live" servers, but on Test, it is significant portion of our, or at least, my income.

Since the launch of the expansion, the calculation that determines the value of said items seems to be broken.

For example, a T8 Treasured item like "Cuffs of the Durus Clan", which would sell back for 13gp 50sp, is now selling back for 1gp 35sp.

This bug, however, does not seem to affect the Guild Hall Amenity (Guild Commodities Exporter).

Cheers.

Caele 80 Mystic/80 Carpenter of Test

All the prices are super-go-nuts wonky.

I have Kella in full L80 instance Legendary and a few pieces of L80 fabled. Yesterday we went into an instance, Kella dirt-napped a lot and I came out at 40% (aggro transfer ON, silly assassin, ON). I hit the mender in South Freeport and he charged me roughly 1g50s, TOTAL, to mend. Previous to this patch, I'd been spending ~3g50s per death.

Collectibles are mysteriously defaulting to 1s16c as opposed to their previous 8c. Body drops ("fragment of metal," that sort of thing) are still selling in their standard 35-95s range (depending on type, etc.). I had a piece of Legendary L77 mage armor (from an armor set) on my broker for what had been its default vendor price, 33g. I pulled it off the broker and went around comparing its buyback price at merchants: in Freeport, in a Guild Hall, and in Maj'Dul, every vendor offered me 2g16s. Its sale value is now SIX PERCENT (if my pocket calculator skillz hold up) of what it was before the patch.

I never had the impression that these things were broken. Why "fix" them so suddenly and so sweepingly?

Weird pricing is directly related to TSO - I have one account without it (while I decide if I'm staying on as a second class citizen in SOE's world or canecelling them all and moving on) and the prices on a character from there selling to/buying from vendors is normal. It's also only Test related, I patched one account to live to see if Ykesha was enabled there and checked pricking while i was there - everything seems normal there so its a Test thing (and while i appreciated the bargain rate mender bills, unless we have spill over from the world market crashes - our economy is definitely in its own recession).
