which shield and weapon

<p>Hi All</p><p>So from what i can gather we are either going to be duel wielding or hiding behind a tower shield soon so i was wondering if anyone has any idea's on which pair of weapons would be worth looking out for ,i have my epic but wont ever manage to get the mythical,and which shield would be worth going after till i start to find new stuff from the expansion.</p><p>As always thank you for any advice.i sure need it lol</p><p>best wishes scrib</p>

<p>Get one good group and kill Demetrius Crane in SoH for the Righteous Barrier, it's the best "heroic" shield one can get. If you can't get raid weapons the Epic is probably a good choice for the start, the TSO signature quest will reward you with a better weapon (100 dmg rating, 1:5.7 spread, 4 sec delay, 5 crit)</p>

<p>if you play on a pvp server the pvp shield from RoK writs is as good or better than the righteous barrier of devotion. 5DA on a tower woot woot. Also if you're able to swing a raid in SoH the trash drops the battleaxe of venom which is a pretty good weap if you're over using the fabled.</p>

<p>Doubt it unless you're rolling in avatar + VP loot already. But he's easy enough to Pick-up Raid (as is all the trash in the zone i might add), the second easiest raid boss in SoH and one of the easiest for RoK.</p><p>I'm personally rolling with the Righteous Barrier myself.</p><p>There's not much better options besides what's already been listed unless you can get in a VP raid.</p>

<p>Killed him with Alts in heroic gear, he definitely can by killed with one of group of good players without raid gear. Setup was Templar, Defiler, Shadowknight/Bruiser, Dirge, Coercer, Swashy or similar. More players make him just easier.</p>

<p>Yeah he's [Removed for Content], just like he first 3, or 4 nameds in SoH. Then the difficulty level raises ALOT for the last 2 mobs. Weird system. I did pass on the shield few weeks ago as i thought i'd save dkp and wait if they turn bucklers into towers, but that doesn't seem very likely anymore. Luckily i got the Enduring Wall from Milyex, also it's slightly better too. Got my Ekron's Blade last night aswell, not the best 3s weapon but should do nice damage while DW'ing.</p>
