i am newbie inq - lvl 30 atm so I do apologize for my newbish questions

1) I wonder how does well equipped inq at lvl 80 compare to dps classes in terms of DPS? I expect us not to be the best but how do we compare to mages/fighters?

2) as i am on nagafen I do try to pvp occasionally. but it seems that for other players I am another kind of mob to be harvested so I wonder are there any classes I have at least a chance against? perhaps I do so bad beacuse of gear or it this particular tier (lvl30)... as for AA I have battlecleric line completed. anyway i would like to know how do experienced inq do in pvp....

thanks a lot

At level 80 your dps will be very much gear dependant. Most inquisitors will have a heal gear set and a dps gear set. Inquistors are also heavily AA dependant. We definitely parse at the top of the healer dps list (with the possible exception of Furies). Probably on par with poorly played summoners. However, much of our dps comes from buffing other players' dps (either directly or by debuffing the mob's mitigation). Much of our healing ability is tied into reducing the amount of dmg the mob puts out. Once I got the end line ability in the STR AA line my solo inquisitor kicked ###. You just need the right AA's - Battle Cleric line, STA line, STR line and part of the AGI line. Forget the others in the cleric line. Useless.

I do not PvP but I am told that Inquisitors can be nasty if well played. The inquisitor is unique in that it is the only class that can purge stun/stifle effects from itself. Its much harder to get a stun lock on an inquisitor. The real weakness that I could see would be against ranged opponents. Clerics just don't have a lot of ranged combat options.

Count on getting HT to your face when fighting sks.

Hard to say what you did wrong, but do you have the STA line and 100% melee crits? Are you using a twohander? Are all your skills ad3 and all your armor MC? divine aura?

I used to lay waste to 3 people at a time in t3 and 4. Of roughly equal gear.

They never did much damage to me either way so I figured I would be better off with more free damage.

If I'm fighting a melee priest who is planing to heal me to death they soon meet the pointy end of this. But there are the few exceptions out there where I would rather have the added protection.

Question is... If you had to fight yourself... Which weapon would you use? 1H vs 1H? 1H vs 2H? 2H vs 2H? Ponder that!
