SK Armor Set Comparisons

<p>Question is, why would people spend Shards and go through the trouble of getting the patterns if the base stats are basically the same as the VP set?  I mean some of the pieces have the exact same effect as the VP set.  They can't be finished yet is my only guess.</p>

<p>wait i am confused... is the fabled odyssey the new updated VP gear or is it a whole new set of gear?  I don't suppose anyone has any screen shots of the new Fabled gear used in the comparisons?</p>

It's got decent increases in some places, ok increases, and strange decreases in others.</p><p>The progression of the items don't really make sense, but in essence the Legendary Odyssey set really isn't supposed to be an upgrade, though it does prove to have some usefulness in some areas.</p><p>I just wanted to post an overall comparison of the top gear sets available for us.</p>

<p>so imagine the patterns drop in raids...  but are we going against other classes for the same pattern? and are all void shards the same to turn in the same to get the peice?</p>
