How hard would it be to make Splitpaw scale to 80 from the current 50 cap? I really enjoyed this area and the lore behind it.

If it went to 80, do you think peeps would come back or is it too "old world?"

About 6 months ago there was talk at Soe about these zones getting a revamp. Of course there was also talk about releasing the missing instance from RoK as well (Kurns Tower). However, no one talks about these things anymore, I suspect cause they were all trash canned for living legacy and tso development.

I suppose they could do that, but why? The loot is horrible, and using Splitpaw to level up in the later tiers is only going to [Removed for Content] yourself with AA (not to mention that if you're running around down there, you're not doing the faction quests that you should be doing in Kunark, etc.)

If they completely reitemized the zones, RoKed the gear and had named actually drop ornates/exquisites, then yeah, people would go there. But then you're full circle as to why they nerfed the heck out of Splitpaw to start with .. everyone would go there and ignore the other content becaues it would be the path of least resistance.

Personally, I predict the Kunark instance drop rates will be nerfed shortly after TSO is released as a way to drive people to the new content (and ensure that if they want the goodies, they'll need to buy the expansion).

I would think that since TSO relies on zone scaling, it would make sense to invest resources in to developing a solid zone scaling system first, and releasing that for TSO, and then go back and apply that same scaling to other zones like Splitpaw.

How about making it WORTH doing for 1-50 first.

I've always liked it, and still do. I never went there until after the loot had been nerfed.

What I like more than anything, however, is a multiple choice as to where I hunt with my various characters. I don't spend long in Splitpaw with any of them, but it's a handy way of filling in any gaps in the levels up to 50 - not that there's much in the way of gaps now - and it would be useful to have that potential increased through the higher levels which is currently where the game becomes increasingly linear.
