Question about racial abilities :)

<p>Hello i'm new to EQ2 and im a min/max player at heart and even though i'd love to pick a race with a look i enjoy i can't help but think about the min/max aspects of an mmorpg <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Anywho was wondering the racial traits for ratonga and dark elf "Poison Expertise +25% poison trigger count" How much dps diffrence does that racial trait give in comparison to other races that don't have it? On paper it looks nice but in the end will it matter so much i'd have to pick a de or ratonga? Also i plan to preety much solo all the way since i doubt theres many low level people doing dungeons anymore in case that matters as well.Thank you in advanced for helping.</p><p>P.S I'm leaning more towards froglog or fae looks wise really n_n</p>

<p><span >+25% poison trigger count doesnt increase the damage of poison, it just increases the maximum number of triggers that poisons can have.</span></p><p>Halflings get the same trait, its a great trait to have for a poison using scout. It will save you cash in the long run over scouts that don't have it because you will use less poison.</p>

<p>That racial ability will increase how many uses you get out of one vial of poison, not how often posion damage will trigger.</p><p>For example crafted damage poisons have 100 triggers so this would increase the number of uses to 125. Crafted debuff poisons have 60 uses so that would increase to 75.</p><p>Dark elfs do get a 30 second crit buff with a 5 minute reuse timer as one of their racial abilities.</p><p>If you choose a DE or rat you will need to start as a brigand and then betray to swashbuckler and move cities.</p>

<p>So in other words i can preety much be a fruty fae or a froggie and it doesnt really matter in the long run? Or are hobbits, de or rats just a bit better?</p>

<p>Kerran's and I believe wood elves get a racial attack that lowers mitigation. This is the best dps-affecting racial skill I've found for scouts. It's not huge, but it does help.</p><p>Claw, combined with the stealth and speed racial benefits make kerran's some mean scouts.</p>
