Crafting Trainers/Societies

<p>I'm having trouble finding the crafting gentleman you hail to select carpenter as your tradeskill class at 9 and eventually 19.</p><p>I've read on here you can find them outside the crafting societies however, I use my guild hall and can't seem to find the societies in Freeport and the forums provide no location or which part of FP for me to look around.</p><p>Also, another thing, I logged on an old character I had from a few years ago and noticed that his tradeskill bar is at 100% on level 3 and he isn't dinging. I didn't try crafting yet since I'm still harvesting the T1 materials.</p>

<p>Try the Coalition of Tradespeople building in West Freeport (by the EFP ent), the building, not the crafting instance.</p><p>If you craft something you will ding, youre probably over 100% in the level due to xp changes at some point.</p>

<p>Welcome to Tradeskilling!!!  I hope you will have a great time.  In the suburbs of Freeport (where your Call of the Overlord takes you), outside the tradeskill instance is the NPC that sells the basic books.  That is the same one to hail to set your tradeskill area...  Also, if you hail them at lvl 9 and 19, the will ding you to lvl 10 and 20 respectively (once you tell them what you want to become...)</p><p>The Freeportian Grandmaster is in West Freeport, you can go to him at level 20, 30 etc..for tradeskill specific quests.  The tradeskill area is in the little alcove area right before you zone into East Freeport. </p><p>Also, check out <a href="http://eq2.eqtraders.com/articles/news_page.php" target="_blank">EQ2 Traders</a> to learn all about crafting!!!</p>
