Here's a question regarding "pre-raid" zerkers for post TSO. lets say I am sitting there looking at Plate armor. I'm wearing a Mastercrafted or treasured piece with some procs but less mitigation than say a Sanctification piece. Now currently some may say the procs and stuff for damage (thus aggro) would be a better choice until you could get a piece of "Zerker" gear. Since they are changing regen to be an actual heal though will the + heal on Sanctification gear apply to us and if so make it a worthier piece while we wait to get that next piece of "zerker" gear?

The spell (proc rate/amout) can't be modified except by AA.

+ca/spell/heal only works on abilities with a cast time. Meaning that it has no effect on procs since they have 0 cast time.

Sikdom

No, it's because the spell has the "can't be modified except by direct means" text

Procs have never been effected by + modifiers. OH gear, damage procs, poisons, +ca/heal etc have no effect. Has nothing to do with the "can be modified only by direct means text" Poisons dont have this, OH doesnt have this, nor does sanctification gear if i remember correctly(it may though i havent looked at that stuff in a while)

This statement "can't be modified except by direct means" only means that a dirge/templar/warlock proc rate buffs have no effect on how often the effect can trigger. That has always been the only mod you can make to a proc anyway.

In either case, the answer to the OP's question is no. Those items will have no effect.

Sikdom

Okey Doke. Wasn't in beta and ALL of my knowledge regarding the changes have been from this forum. That clears it up
