View Full Version : TSO - time to change Everburning?
<p>I think others have made good points about the TSO AAs.</p><p>Part of the monk problem is that we self buff haste, yet in a raid we hit the cap way too easily. I often see my haste at 300+ in a fairly normal raid setup. We just don't need that.</p><p>Since it seems AE aggro will be an issue, why not change everburning to an AE proc? When we need more AE, we click it on and take the health drain, otherwise we leave it off, as we usually do now anyway while raiding.</p><p>Perhaps something like</p><p>Everburning:</p><p>Caster has 25% chance of having their primary weapon's autoattack affect multiple targets they are facing who are within melee range. These searing attacks cause heat damage to targets they hit.</p><p>Something along those lines.</p>

<p><span style="color: #00cc00;">I hope it's a green AoE rather then a Blue one I already have to take off my AoE AA buff in certain instances.</span></p>

The wis line ae AA doesn't have the range to cause any accidental pulling. I have never had a problem with it.</p>

<p>Agreed, low range on that.. I've never had it break mez either.. not sure if its a game mechanic that prevents it or just dumb luck though.</p>

The reason for this is so Dragon Rage has a chance to proc off it. Also I think the percent is a little low. I would say App1=25%, Adept1=35%. adept3=45% and Master1=50%. If not give up an AA like Swashbuckers to raise that value.</p><p>It sucks on raids telling the Illy that I don't need the haste buff cause I'm already capped.</p>

<p>I disagree.</p><p>If it was anything but within auto attack range it wouldn't make sense and also would cause us all sorts of over agro issues. AE auto attack can't be further than auto attack range or it really makes no sense. And since we only need the skill for hate control and not dps it makes sense to me.</p>

<p>I wouldn't mind getting an increase to DA from Everburning flame. Our STR line is being "brought in line" with the other classes to be viable by allowing weapons to be used, but that that eliminates the special "wow" factor that was supposed to make the line stand out. I'm sure raid and group monks have ways to get all their haste, DA, and DPS up to max anyway. . . But as primarily a solo monk I really wouldn't mind getting some heavy DPS kick for the health tick that Everburning requires.</p><p>Maybe a +(CA damage) effect, and DA boost, ontop of the little haste boost for those who might miss it anyway.</p><p>On the subject of AE aggro, and AE damage, I really think that that's an issue that should be dealt with by current AE CA's and AA's. TSO adds in a minor damage and/or reuse improvement for our single standard AoE CA, right? EoF tree also has something for that same CA, something like increasing the range of the effect. Perhaps doing something a little more effective with those AA's would improve the situation.</p><p>There's also another useless TSO AA that increases the hate gain of Peel, perhaps that could be changed to affecting multiple targets or something?</p>
<p>I was thinking the same thing about everburning not only having haste but with +15 to double attack as well at the master lvl.</p>

Sorru but melee range is very short. It would be very hard to get mobs in range to hit all. I'm not asking for 50 meter hits just a little further then melee.</p>

<p>Change Everburning to 25% ae auto attack, great idea!</p><p>Make Crane Twirl 3% to everburning an aa. Then make Crane Flock 10da and reach always on, solve our ae problems, and make our ae line a real ae line.</p>

<p>Except the Wis line is a brawler line and bruisers dont have Everburning.</p>
