Trial Download Issues

<p>My buddy is trying to download the trial.  He get's halfway through the download and gets the "not compatible with win.32dll" error message.</p><p>Anyone know what this is about?</p>

<p>Are you using the standard launchpad(just has EQ2) or the station launcher(lists all of our games)?  If you're using the standard launchpad then I would advise using the station launcher that is available here:</p><p><a href="http://launcher.station.sony.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://launcher.station.sony.com/</a></p><p>Download, install, log in, and then select Everquest 2.  On the next screen you'll want to select 'download now' and then choose the directory where you already installed the game.</p><p>Let me know if that doesn't work.</p>

<p>Just remembered that this can also happen if you don't have Windows updated to the latest version.  You will probably want to run the Windows updater to make sure you have the latest service pack if you haven't updated in a while. </p><p>It's also a standard error experienced by pirate versions of Windows.  Hopefully you're using an actual licensed copy, though.</p>
