I recently exiled on my 33 zerker Aeritha. She's a capable warrior and armor smith, and I required her services on the 'other' side in order to finance my other evil characters. Life as a berzerker in T4 is a bit rough. While soloing content is a non-issue, pvp is a problem. Along the journey in exile I leveled 3 times, as well as gaining a few AA points putting me up to adv. 36 and AA 47.

I'm really only posting because the content within the forums has dried up, and the topics that are recieving viewers and responses are "lol im newb zerker needs help pls" and "I'm level 80 -insert cookie cutter complaint about my class here".

Any way, there was a ton of PVP that happened along my trips between qeynos and freeport. Among these fights was a memorable encounter with an equal con Fury. I didn't want to fight the fury, but for some reason they get insane in combat and out of combat run speed, coupled with roots and snares and... Basically there was nothing I could do to avoid the encounter, which is not something that is exclusive to druids. It appears that a berzerker has no way of escaping from anything, or for that matter no means of capturing a fleeing opponent.

So the little b***h got me locked in combat and I was all game to raep this fae fury to shreads. I proceed to dish out numbers that forced her to back to back heal. That in combination with my KB, stuns, and interrupt skills I was fairly close to taking her down a number of times, but alas the 1 second heal, coupled with stun immunities prevented me from downing the fae. Soon after I run below 25% power (STA specced with final ability, so it took a while) and I stoped using any skills except interrupts and stuns to keep the pressure on the fury. She decided to start nuking me. Thank god starfall is a 20 second recast.

This is the fun part, I run completely out of juice, no power, 30% life, and the fury just finished a starfall. She was fairly low on power so she stopped chain healing and just was refreshing her DoTs and casting her nukes when they came back up. This was amazing, as I knew I couldn't run, I couldn't do anything, I was stuck toe to toe against a foe with more HP than me, more power, and an assortment of nukes to unleash this potential onto my defensless self. What occured was a complete suprise, as I just was sitting back in my chair waiting for the innevitable end to occur.

...

...

My buckler reversal, double attack, weapon proc, and a lucky crit all occured at the SAME moment in time. This rediculous littly fae creature that wouldn't let me merrily be on my way went from 40% health to totally DEAD. I can only imagine the ludicrous amounts of cursing that was occuring from my now dead opponent. Oh it was good, and so well deserved.

-----------------

But again, something I don't understand about PVP and Exile, is how other players mistreat you for no reason, especially when you have absolutely no chance of winning. (Level 80 1 hitting a level 36? Why?) I suppose I have some vague reasoning for it to happen, but really its not necissary. The whole exile quest took 8 hours that could have been well reduced to 5 - 6 hours if it wasn't for players attempting to get an easy kill on someone that cannot escape them. (Level 39 defiler, level 41 wizard, among others). I especially do not understand players within city walls attacking exiles, who obviously have 10000 faction with the city guards, and will be joining their side momentarily. Silly, just silly.
