Greetings,

I spent some time leveling a Templar to level 9, then headed out to the digsite to run some quests for tokens. Iwent at 9 because the T2 quests are way out of my league (level 15 mobs) as opposed to the T1 quest which werelevel 5 to 7. Sure I could level to 15 but 1-9 was painful enough and I have alts to level :)

At any rate, I finished up the quests from Jimbo and had 15 tokens; 5 for the cloak and 10 for the helmet. Much tomy dismay, when I clicked to purchase the cloak I was hit with a lag spike and saw:

"You purchase Cloak of the Ancient Champions for 5 D.I.R.T.Y Money"

twice in my chat window. So now I'm left with only 5 coins which isn't enough for the helmet. I realize there is apetition option however I was under the impression there are a limited number of restores per account and didn'twant to waste it.

So there are two things I learned from this "adventure":

Templars are horribly slow to level without AAs

Buying things can be dangerous and in my case I should've bought the more expensive item first since I didn'thave enough to accidentally buy two of them anyway.

I can unerstand your pain (I bought 2 cloaks as well, thankfully they can be placed in your home too). However, those quests are repeatable..... You can still get more coins to turn in if thta is your wish

Sorry to hear the luck bud you maybe able to get reimbursement by the CSR if you report the incident as a bug. Say you want 1 of the cloaks in your inventory removed and you want just want 5 more DIRTY coins to purchase the hat. You could also suggest to them that they take the cloak + the rest of your coins and give you the hat due to the lag spike.

However this is a grey area and it maybe hard to prove the lag spike on their end. Luckily you just have to earn 5 more coins so if you do the naga event 5 times about 6 quick kills a pop you'll be golden. Or you could work your way up really quick and do the crafting quest, but that's a level 20+ quest.

This is a good reson to make the clithing items lore, I can't remember which alt has which items already from previous purchases, would be nice if they were lore so you couldn't buy two boots or whatever when you can only use one.

Not the furniture or other things, just the items that you can only use one of anyway....

No point in making them lore. Just be careful when buying them. maybe they could make them resellable to get your money back or at least most of it.

Since the dirty money is no-trade, I don't see why you can't sell the item back toJimbo for the purchase price. That way in a case like mine where I didn't double-click the buy button but wasa victim of unfortunate coincidence, I'd at least be able to get the 5 dirty money back without the hassle of apetition.

On a side note, thanks to the above who mentioned it could be turned into a wall hanging. The tooltip didn't saythat (unlike the claimable cloak) and I was unaware.

Never said it would, so why are you picking a fight over this?

The clothing lore tag would help keep us from getting two things that cannot be used at the same time, the OP can use both his cloaks so what IS your point? It can help OTHERS!

I swear some people just have to post an argument no matter what the topic is.

Can you discuss anything without insults?

What EXACTLY is the problem with wanting the CLOTHING (bolded for those who miss it)lore tagged so we don't end up with duplicates of what we can't use two of? I honestly DO NOT get the animosity here, what on earth is the problem?

If it isn't clothing then no lore tag, but gees what is the problem? Because, honestly, that's how I read it the first time through, so it's obviously an area open to different interpretations.
