Was doing a PR run last night in Sebilis. I do just fine against casting AoE however a Melee AoE, typically crushing flat out squashes me. Granted I was only Level 76 going against Level 84 Epic x 4 mobs.

Any gear recommendations to improve my resists against melee AoE or was it just my level?

Definitely 100% your lvl. If you're 76 fighting lvl 84 raid mobs, you need to joust.

Yeah, your level is the reason you are squished when a melee AE goes off, level up and you will be good.

I thought it was my level I was just a little concerned because I had the same problem on a previous character being 1 shotted at level 70 in KoS Raids.

Thanks

Yah especially with your hps the way they are. Jousting is the only method of survival if you don't have a shammy or an inq warding you. So set up your timers in ACT and time the joust yourself so you don't fall victim to bad joust calls. Regardless, to this day I joust in PR even though the AEs never kill me anymore.

Wait til you get to Nexona and you're asked to debuff Nex throughout the fight while your group is off killing statues and adds and you DONT have your healer there to ward you against the AE and jousting doesn't matter...

Yah. lol. 10.3k HPs and 8k+ MR with my backup gear really helps in that sitch.

Wait til you have to tank Byzola when your MT goes ld. 18,500 hp helps in that sitch too! DDD
