75 Mystic in PVP thining of going over to the dark

<p>So now that "EVIL" classes are legal in Qeynos I am thinking of changing my 75 Myctic to a defiler. The mustic does NOTHING for me from an enjoyment standpoint and only got this high becuase it was a dual box alt.</p><p>I would like to raid him in T8 and have raided him in some T7 pickup raids just to try it out. I never igmagined raiding could be THAT boring.....how is it from the Defiler standpoint?</p>

<p>I recently betrayed from Mystic to Defiler, mostly because even though Sony began the Mystic down this "Hybrid Melee-Priest" path, they completely shot it down in RoK... there's almost no gear to support a hybrid role, and the AA's don't support it, and don't scale in T8 for the Mystic combat arts.</p><p>I betrayed because I found myself playing a pure healer as a Mystic, and feeling fairly gimped because I didn't have the AA's to enhance my heals/cures/debuffs the way a Defiler does.. and it opened up a lot more gear choices to me.</p><p>If you want to heal, betray away.. it's worked out well so far, but be prepared to find an emergency NEED for Beneficial Alacrity items ASAP... I found my casting much slower at first. It's manageable now.</p><p>When I want to Combat art the stuffing out of mobs... I switch to my Bruiser...</p><p>One side note.. in PVP (Only in Duels since I'm on a PVE server) I find my rate of kill is slower, but my overall survivability it the same... but the ability to strip fears/stuns/stifles etc while stunned or feared is very nice.</p>
