View Full Version : Monk non-AoE abilities actually AoE?

I've noticed something the past few days. I'll be fighting something in an area with lots of non-agro mobs around, so I'm careful not to use any AoE abilities to prevent adds... but sometimes it seems like an ability will hit multiple targets even if the description does not say it's an AoE ability.

I haven't gotten it narrowed down yet, but it seems to be one of the kick abilities.

Is there a kick CA that hits multiple targets, but the tooltip doesn't say that?

Cranetwirl from the Wisdom line.

Yeah, I know about that one - and it says it's AoE right on the tool tip.

I'm looking for one that maybe doesnt' say it's AoE...

Have you checked the armour you have equiped? I had a similar problem with my wizard, only to find out my robe had some sort of AoE that had a chance to proc whenever I cast a spell or was hit. Can't remember the details as it was a while ago.

Anyhoo...it might not be a CA at all. Check what you've got equiped to see if that might be the problem.

I have Imbued Mastercrafted leather pants and tunic... one procs a damage spell when hit, the other procs a heal. I didn't think that was AoE, but it might be - I'll check that.
