I have a 72 warlock and all of my spells are getting resisted in PvP at about 50-80% in combat. I even have 465 disruption on my warlock self buffed, yet green-white con solo scouts are able to resist my spells up to 80% of the time. I fought a swash today, white con, 4 out of 5 spells resisted, I am all ad3 or m1, MC cloth and jewelry. Were it not for MS and FC I would have lost for sure. Nerf dammage, I don't care but there is no way to win when 80% of my spells get resisted and all but 5% of scout mellee lands.

Is there someone we can get a real answer from? All the mages I talked to on nagafen in T8 say the same thing and are hoping enough complaints will be heard and the problem addressed. At this point, I see nothing solid, juts our wishfull thinking. Can someone please let the PvP mages know someone cares and is paying attention to our needs, not just the scouts?

PS: I have a 76 necro, 75 SK, 73 defiler, 73 warden (Mellee spec) and out of these classes I consider caster, all have ridiculous resist rates. Only my brig and warden mellee lands more than 90% of their CA~ I just don't like playing the brig because there are too many on the server as it is. 5-1 kill ratio on a junk brig I barely play, that should be proof enough how skewed it is towards brigs/swash/ranger (I don't know how assassins are, not may Q or Exile assassins)

It's probably because itemization is heavily weighted in scouts favor. They aquire the gear that makes them powerful extremely early on. Whereas our gear takes an increadible long time, and some astronomical luck.

Even in PvE the resist rate is really horrific. The whole point a caster needs a melee class to debuff for them but melee's don't need a caster to debuff for them is really agravating. Complete resists suck, just resist my damage so I do less not resist the WHOLE DANG SPELL.

PvP is a step away from trash for a mage point of view. yeah sure mages can pull tricks and win sometimes. When was the last time though a scout ran up on a mage and 'missed' over half of their attacks on you. Doesn't happen. A mage fighting a scout is like trying to take down a brick wall sometimes, while a scout can run up on us, hit auto-attack and cut through a mage like a hot knife going through butter. It's pretty stupid. Oh yeah because pvp was an afterthought of this game anyway. Coming from playing competetive FPS games for so long, the conept of hitting the buttons and having nothing happen is just mindblowing. Atleast in Quake if I nailed you with my rail gun, theres no chance of you dodging it... Or resisting 50/80 of my lightning gun cells. Matter fact, thats probably the reason I will never putter around in mmo pvp, wheres the skill when an RNG plays such a huge roll?
