Anyone here play a higher level SK or bruiser in addition to their Brigands? I want to do a more DPS heavy class than my SK, but I'm worried about healing when playing a brigand. I hear that Brigands really take apart the mobs, and there are healing poisons, but can they keep you alive while you solo?

Right now with my SK, I can take one level above me and one ^ (meaning I'm 79 now and I can take an 80^), can the brigs do the same or close? Or should I roll a bruiser and try to offset the unmitigated avoidance factor? I'm looking to all the HQs and perhaps go dungeon delving exclusively. Fighting easily picked off outside mobs is getting /yawn and 79 is looking to be another hell-level.

Any help would be grealy appreciated.

Tog

Brigands are extremely viable for soloing. After RoK forced me to become truly good at my class, I was still able to solo yellow con mobs without a sweat. Killing mobs 2-3 levels higher than you is very possible. You can even do +2^ mobs with little fear.

I soloed my way through RoK as a brigand using only MC gear, quest reward gear, and Adept III arts. Only when I hit the upper 70's did I finally start to buy gear off of the broker.

Our rogue Intelligence AA line grants a Feign Death ability at the end of the line. This would let you still have the benefit that you're used to as a SK. (And this version has a 100% success chance as well.)
