My girlfirind's fury lost too many stats when changing from MC engraved leather armorl vl 32 to lvl 37 MC Deathfist Mossy armor

she lost 188 health

she lost 211 power

she lost 102 stamina

she lost 102 wisdom

she lost 422 cold resist

she lost 422 heat resist

she lost 422 poison resist

she lost 902 desease resist

she lost 422 magix resist

she lost 422 divine resist

she lost 682 mental resist

The only gained was

4% mitigation

84 intellegence

5 in combat power per tick

These results were taken from simply canceling all spells and switching between level 32 to level 37armor.

Is this right? Can the level 32 MC leather be that much better than the level 37?

The MC armor recently got a re-tune up. The special crafted armor, like the Deathfist stuff, didn't.

in that case, I do vote for a fix. the deathfist armor should be considerably better than normal MC armor

Yeah, right now the stuff is relegated to appearance armor.

After the dust settles from the expansion would be the time to bring it up again, in my opinion. Before then, nothing will be done.

Heh, it cost me around 8plat to get a full set of this stuff for my SK. He's 38 now, and I wonder if I should leave him for a bit, or move the armor to appearance slot like others and go 32 or 42 MC plate. It's a bit sad considering all the effort it took to organise getting the dang stuff made, the purchase of the ore, and the armorsmith's fees to get it done.

This discussion just came up in our guild. The DFC armor is awesome, or should be, but right now it's a step down from MC. Which is funny cause hasn't it been upgraded at least twice from its initial stats?

Originally the DFC armour had higher stats that level 42 MC.After the MC upgrade it was worse than level 32 MC, except for mit and the set bonus. The stats have been upgraded a bit, e.g. the Blood Threaded Robe of Alteration used to give +12 Sta +12 Int and now gives +18 Sta +18 Int.But it is still much weaker relatively than it used to be.The level 32 tranquil blouse gives +26 Sta +30 Int.The level 42 tranquil bouse gives +30 Sta +34 Int.And the tranquil can be imbued. The DFC armour should have more stats than the level 32 stuff as a minimum.

Frankly, DFC should be just a bit better than 42 MC since it is based off a dungeon drop item.

What it should be is fabled or equivalent to fabled for that level. Seriously, the amount of cruddy grinding you have to get the drops and then go into the DFC to craft it should make it worth a lot more than MC for that tier... and maybe the next too.

I don't think anyone is alleging it doesn't need improvements. There was even a thread a few months back (after MC was improved) from the dev who designed them (no Domino, but I can't recall if it was Aerelik or Autenil or someone else entirely) admitting they needed to be looked into but weren't the highest priority right now due to the expansion coming and other things that were being worked on at the time.

Its great looking armor, only reason i still have it in the apearence slot. I do hope it gets looked at soon, would hate to out level it any time atm. Would also be a great i dea if they made the 7th piece to complete the whole set. Im not really asking to make it better than 42 MC, but at the very least MUCH better then 32 MC. Maybe just a tad more of the affect for the set.

For paladin's side, +25 heal and spell is great. Maybe add a proc, or + something more., just to spice up the newly reworked sets.

Everfrost recently got a wonderful makeover.

For the next zone remake my vote goes to Lavastorm but all of those old dungeons need work.

Permafrost anyone? At least the quests in DFC are still worth doing.
