any good in duels?

I tried nagafen a few years ago and hated having to watch my tail all the time. All that aside, are assassins decent in 1v1 duels? i am lvl 52 and am about to begin dueling with him. I usually duel with my warden.I am lacking right now in AA and i locked my combat xp to so i can focus on aa,, i have 38 points. I have the str line finished and i am working on the int line.obviously if i get rooted by a caster, i can have probs. But how would i fair against a hybrid healer class? or a monk that has high avoidance. All of the assassins that i have dueled against in the past i have beatin,, but they didnt seem smart and never got a back shot in on me.

(( duels are not intended for assassin class, we have the worst time out of anyone, since we require stealth, and need positionals.Its possible though if you are into that sort of thing.I would try to get your AA up much higher, Ive seen level 20s with that many AAs.... by level 70 you should have over 100 aas ... so by 50 maybe 75?The impenetrable aa at the end of the STA line is decent for duels im told, pop that and a freedom of mind before the battle begins, then rush the opponent. with luck, they will freak out and blow all their dps off the bat, and it will be absorbed.After that, wait for your opening then decimate them with a concealment combo lead off by stun and root.

My assassin is my second toon (and now my main toon). My first toon is a Paly, and he rocked in duels. My assassin... sucks in duels... badly. I've wondered if this was just a skill thing (I need to learn to duel with him) which is partly true, but because a ton of our dps comes from behind and invis, I think it takes a lot of skill to duel with an assassin.
