i have quite a good ranged crit and am just about to hit 80 and i have started raiding with my guild, what i am wondering is do other assasins out there use there bow attack whilst raiding? if so how often?Thanks in advance.

Other than that I do not use my ranged becasue flurry > ranged attacks.</p><p>But im sure you dont have your Mythical weapon yet so..</p>

It depends what weapons you are running. If you have your fabled epic and a decent off hand you would do better to sit in and Auto than take a step back. It also depends on the bow you have and the distance back you have to be. Every step you have to take back, fire your bow, and then step back in, is seconds off of your auto attack (I have the bow from hate that only requires to be back a metre, I believe if you space it right you can use your bow and still auto attack at that distance, although I don't know how close you have to be to auto). The actual number of times where you will have nothing to hit is minimum (a second here and there, so you lose your ca attacks moving in and out as well). Personally, even before my myth, I stayed in and auto'd.

<p>You'll lose too much auto attack DPS if you joust out to use your ranged CAs.</p><p>As a general rule of thumb NEVER joust out unless you need to (an AoE is called etc).</p><p>Don't try and get the bow out of SoH, you'll want to get the Bandolier of Flowing Lava from VP.</p>

I havent raided in an eternity on my assassin but doesnt the sweetspot work on raid mobs?
