Direct2drive key

Hello all,I wanted to ask if anyone had any experience with Direct2drive and whether or not I would have to download the game again if I were to purchase the game from Direct2drive?   I actually only need the key.  Would I be sent the key or would I be prompted to download?Also, I've never owned more than one account.  So, when i log on would I still be able to do that from the same launcher?Thanks for any help.

You just need to create a new SOE account I believe, which is free and uses your D2D key, then you can log in with your new account. I'm not sure how else it would work. No need for a redownload or reinstall.

They email it to you during the process. You can choose to download the game or not.

And isn't direct 2 drive the retail version?
