Armor for low 70s zerker & MC armor

Hi,Trab is in his low 70s, not quite ready for the RoK instances and is not raiding or doing PvP.I've heard people say bad stuff about MC items though that might have been from the perspective of a level 80 player. <p>Hey hows it going.  yeah im in the same situation you are.  but ive always found that mastercrafted is great at the lower levels of a teir.  Ive seen the quest armor your talking about, its all from the solo quest which only give you treasured gear.  Ive never seen a piece of treasured gear i would replace a piece of mastercrafted with.  All those special effects are so weak i dont don think there worth losing some stats over or the +45 to combat art damage that the MC has.</p><p>Ill be sticking with Mastercrafted until im can start getting in some groups to and getting some ledgedary gear.</p>

<p>The MC armor that the T-8 level is so cheap is crazy not to do it. Incarnadine is so easy to get and so cheap on the broker. It is like 20g on Lucan sever. So, I went with that.</p><p>Also, I went to KP (RoK) in my mid 60's and did great. I did all the solo quests in KP at that level with relative ease. So, I would tell you to go ahead and go to RoK and do the solo quests from Wiki. By the way, I hope you have the Buckler line, that mkaes things alot easier.</p><p>Edit....I only have low grade trasured jewlry that i get as I level and kill stuff or get in a quest....and I still rocked RoK like nothing.</p>

<p>I'm a level 79 1/2 zerk still wearing mainly MC armor.  No one wants a 79 tank...they all want an 80 that's tweaked out for the instances <img src="http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/images/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" />  I did the solo quest line to get the band of thuuga which has really awesome stats for a soloable fabled item.  I would recommend working on that quest line as soon as possible.</p><p>I haven't played since february and the chest piece I was wearing was a legendary Deklium chest plate, and now I can't wear it.  Looked at the level and now it reads level 80 req.  Did they change this recently?</p>

Trab went to KP at 68 and just rocked soloing. He's completed pretty much all the KP quests and is now moving through Fens. So he has picked up various treasured loot; mainly jewelry with a +1 to melee crit or double attack. The question is should I ditch them for MC jewelry? Just how valuable are +1 melee crit or double attack compared with the loss of all the stats and CA.My current thoughts are to get the imbued MC rings (str and agi), but to keep the quested earring and get the Sarnshak earring of jade with its +2DA. I've been looking for a better neck item. I just picked up a Hardened marrow Necklace cheap (25str 25sta 34agi 100H 120P +35CA +4ranged +4slashing) which is nice since I use a long sword.On the armor side, Trab's already got complete MC vanguard plate except for Commander's Polished head and chest. I haven't seen anything else worth getting for low 70s.Cheers,TrabOasis

I'd suggest buying the MC'd armor (at 72 and 77) and just using quested jewelry/armor peices that are better than MC. The MC gives killer resists that are well worth it until you can upgrade to instance and some quested gear.
