I want to make either a ranger or a troub on the q side. And i was wondering who would be the best for pvp solo mostly and the occasion group. <div></div><div>Are the only reason rangers are good at solo pvp because of the bow attacks?</div>

Will you be going to cap or not?Ranger is definitely the easier of the two. The main reason (at least at cap, probably earlier as well) is because of the damage of their ranged auto attack. It's not uncommon to be hit for 2-4k auto attacks in T8 from a ranger.

Troub is a good class if u want to p!$$ people off with CC which can be mighty fun, rangers are just straight up damage scout's, especially if they get the jump on a very long range <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />, so its dependable and what u like doing most annoying people with CC or annoying them with damage <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

Troub is pretty fun, I used to have one up to around lv 25 but deleted him only because I wanted to focus on other toons, I also tried ranger way back and it was ok too, however u really got to get used to the fact that melee= dead. That's why I started a sin cuz I like being up close, stealthed and having lethal attacks, but nevertheless, both classes do extremely well and can both put off some pretty nice dps. Ranger like others said being a lot easier to dps a lot but troub are very good at surviving with their mezzes and debuffs, they're also a mage/priest's dream with all of their buffs.
