Thanks for the replies from before.  This seems to be a very helpful community.  I'm level 22 now and never level locked.  I just learned about it.  Is it a required thing to do?  I'm thinking about starting over so I can compete more.  Any advice would be great).  Thanks

The only reason level locking is beneficial is because it gives you a greater amount of time to amass AA points which are certainly very important. If you locked now, though, you would probably be fine. Of course if you're going for peak performance, being as low level as you still are, rerolling is certainly still a viable option.
