All CA's, stats, spells etc will be exactly the same as they are now, barring a few new AA's (which nobody knows about outside of the beta forums). There may be better weapons in TSO, but i'm sure there will also be better gear (or more opportunies to get 'better gear' of comparible stats to the current 'leet' gear) for other slots, other classes.I don't see the concern

The concern is that melee fighters benefit from new gear much more than mages tend to. Mages tend to benefit the most from getting new spells, and keeping those spells upgraded to the maximum capacity. If their spells are not upgraded, their base damage change is exactly 0. Melee classes, however, have a huge increase in speed and damage of auto-attack (which is frankly already over the top, and can only be foreseen as getting worse). The only solution I can see is SE offering a LOT of base damage increases to spell damage, or a LOT of bonuses to casting/recast speed of spells if mages are going to compete.
