So a couple of days ago I hit lvl 80 with my SK and went into Charsis with a Necro, Defiler, and Dirge. I have the lvl77 Di'Zok gear with the quested jewelery and legendary shield (can't remember the name). From the first mob to the last mob I had a hard time keeping alive.  When I looked back at the logs after the zone, I noticed that I was only getting hit for 200-350 melee, which is good, but 4500 in heat dmg from certain mobs. I know Wis would help lower the amount of dmg from magic, but considering  I'm an SK and very rarely raid, what else can I do to lower the dmg I take from spells?

And if a certain zone seems to revolve around you taking buttloads of heat damage, try to stack up a decent amount of heat resists.

Buffs, buffs, and even more buffs. Any potions, tinked items, muted enhances, and buffs which +resist will help you mitigate elemental attacks. But group buffage is the more flexible way to go, unless your guild has mega-tradeskills available to you. Godd luck. <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/e8a506dc4ad763aca51bec4ca7dc8560.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" />
