Network Timeout

Hey, as soon as I try to log onto EQ2 it takes a while but then a wee box pops us and it reads "<b>Network Timeout</b>: Network error. The server is not responding, please check your connections and try again." Anything I can do to fix this?

Everything should be fine on the firewall way. I suspect it's because I'm using hall's internet not a privately owned one. It does say you should be able to play your online games with it but no luck sadly!

In a lot of cases you can play on one but some MMORPG require specific ports be open that are not normal on a campus network. You might talk to the sys admin and see what they say.

Thanks! I've done that and they said they'll see what they do. They'll probably fix it as it's privately own flats so yay!
