TrevorG,

Refer to my last 2 threads of the same name which you promptly locked. THIS IS NOT A NEW PROBLEM. Nor is it a BETA ONLY PROBLEM this has been an ongoing problem for several YEARS now and I was wondering if there is any fix in the near future for it?

Please refer to the following threads for the history on this issue:

http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...&topic_id=34987

http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=364955

Thanks

I had this issue constantly when running a 32bit OS (windows XP) and while running in extreme quality mode. When i installed Vista ultimate 64 bit (on the same computer) i can run in extreme quality without any issues. Maybe its an issue with the 32bit system not being able to allocate the large chunk of memory required for the higher graphics mode?System specs:AMD Phenom 9850 Black Ed.4GB RAMEVGA 8800 Ultra 768MB1 WD 320GB (for os and misc)6 WD Raptor 36GB in RAID 5 (holds game installs and pagefile)

What helped me in WinXP is setting my page file to "system managed". I also turned down my AGP Aperture in BIOS to 128 as this will force your video card to use less system memory. Anyway, it worked for my particular setup. Good luck.

Thissimply helps with performance since the drive which is reading EQ2 info from the .pak files won't be interruptedto read data out of the pagefile.
