Has armor looks/clothing variety gotten better/increased?

Hi, im a lvl 53 brigand and left EQ2 back in January 2008. I left mostly due to still struggling to find armor that looks even remotely good on me. Has there been any changes to armor graphics or variety since I left? Any cosmetic changes at all? Thanks.

There have been changes but whether they are better is going to be a personal choice.  Check out the EQ2Traders "fashion" section:<a href="http://www.eq2.eqtraders.com/articles/article_page.php?article=g99&menustr=065000000000" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">http://www.eq2.eqtraders.com/articl...tr=065000000000</a>I couldn't find any low level armour that I felt <i>suited</i> my Brigand, so I've got a set of cloth dress clothes in the in the appearance slot.

The changes aren't that big. There are some decent looking pieces out there though. You're gonna continue to run into the old problem of everything looking alike anyways other than minor color changes.

<p>There's still no new armour models, so it's still repaints after repaints. </p><p>Although the recent Live Event (you missed it) had a black/grey chain suit that was rather splendid. </p><p>You might enjoy the set that drops from trash in old Runnyeye. It's a pitch black chain suit, so dark you can barely make out any detailing at all. My Brigand wears that with some black leather gloves for appearance purposes. </p><p>You can also make an appealing look from the Mastercrafted Ebon set, and perhaps replace the gloves and boots with the mastercrafted leather from that tier. </p>

<p>Actually the black / grey chain suit was not an original model. You can get the exact same model from trash in Vaults of El'Arad in Barren Sky~.</p>

It looks astonishingly bad. I didn't think they could make things worse... They succeeded. Grats SOE! What genius said lets screw up the look and feel of the game?
