is +spell adding to poison procs?

Fledgling assassin here.With all the new effects on the dropped gear as I level, i was wondering if we get any advantage of +spell dmg stats?Does poison dmg get a bost from it?

No.Poisons are affected by spell crit, but not spell damage.

No, it isn't affected by +spell, yes it is confirmed.
